Mountaineer CrossFit – Kids
Warm-up (No Measure)
“Switch.” The kids will start at one end of the room. On “Go,” they will perform one movement to the cone line in the middle of the room. At the line, they will switch movements until they get to the opposite side of the room.
1) Grapevine Left -> Grapevine Right
2) Right Leg Hops -> Left Leg Hops
3) Kangaroo Hops -> Bunny Hops
4) Forward Jog -> Backpedal
Cartwheel
“X” marks the spot. Hand placement will be aided by “X’s” on the ground to help the kids figure out where their hands need to be. This can be done on a box, the floor, or not at all if the kids are proficient at cartwheels. The cartwheel pattern to remember is Hand-Hand-Foot-Foot
